DNA Genotek, an Ottawa-based OraSure Technologies company, makes collection devices that stabilise the sample the moment it is taken: ORAgene and ORAcollect for saliva DNA, OMNIgene·GUT for stool and the microbiome and, through its sister company Novosanis, Colli-Pee for first-void urine. All four are curated and supplied on the Humans Nexus platform; DNA Genotek is the manufacturer.

DNA Genotek describes itself as a leading provider of products for biological sample collection, stabilisation and preparation. It is a subsidiary of OraSure Technologies, alongside Novosanis and Diversigen. Its OMNIgene·GUT microbiome collection kit carries a CE-IVD mark; Colli-Pee is CE marked, with its stabilised configuration CE-IVD marked; and its Oragene·Dx and ORAcollect·Dx saliva lines are, in the maker’s words, the first FDA 510(k)-cleared saliva-based DNA collection devices for in vitro diagnostic use. Each device stabilises its sample at the point of collection, so it travels at room temperature with no cold chain and arrives at the laboratory intact. Humans Nexus curates and supplies these devices on its platform and assembles the clinical-grade kits around them; device-level regulatory status is held by DNA Genotek, the legal manufacturer. We own no lab; we integrate laboratories and never compete with them.
