The microbiome kit.
The gut, sampled at home.

An ambient-stabilised stool collection pack (no cold chain, designed for patient-friendly at-home collection, returned to an accredited laboratory with chain of custody intact).

The pack

Stool, stabilised at home.

Microbiome work depends on a stool sample that is stable from the bathroom to the bench. This pack is a regulated collection pack with its own UDI, built around a hygienic collection device and a stabilising buffer that fixes the sample at the moment of collection, so it ships at ambient temperature, with no ice and no excursion risk, and still reaches the laboratory representative of the patient.

Why it works

No cold chain, no compromise.

Three things make ambient stool collection dependable for the patient and the lab.

01Ambient-stabilised

A stabilising buffer fixes the sample at collection, so it stays representative at room temperature (no refrigeration, no cold-chain logistics).

02Patient-friendly

A hygienic collection device and clear instructions make at-home collection simple, clean and reliable on the first try.

03Chain of custody

ID-matched, tamper-evident sealing locks the sample to the patient and the custody record closes at laboratory accessioning.

Ambient stool sits in the no-cold-chain tier of our logistics, returning by standard tracked return.

Good to know.

What is the microbiome kit?

An ambient-stabilised stool collection pack (a regulated procedure pack with its own UDI, built around a hygienic collection device and a stabilising buffer for patient-friendly at-home collection, returned under chain of custody to an accredited laboratory).

Does it need to be refrigerated?

No. The stabilising buffer fixes the sample at collection, so it is stable at ambient temperature and ships by standard tracked return (no ice, no cold chain).

Is collection difficult for the patient?

No. The pack uses a hygienic collection device with clear instructions, designed for clean, reliable at-home collection on the first try.

How is the sample kept traceable?

The sample is ID-matched and sealed with tamper-evident closure at collection, and a documented chain of custody travels with it until the laboratory accessions it.
